ProCourse Reporting and Takedown Policy, version 1.0.0, effective 31 October 2026
1. Anyone may report a course, profile or material they believe is unlawful, infringing, harmful, misleading or in breach of our Content Standards. Use the Report link or email legal@procourse.co.za.
2. Copyright and rights notices should include: your name and contact details, your signature (typed is fine), the right claimed to be infringed, the material and where it is on ProCourse, the remedial action you want, and a statement that you act in good faith and that the information is true. This follows section 77 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. ⚠ Knowingly false notices may make you liable for damages.
3. What we do. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days. We review urgent safety and illegal-content reports immediately and may disable material at once. For other reports, we usually ask the Seller to respond within 5 business days. We then keep, edit or remove the material, and tell the reporter and the Seller the outcome and reasons.
4. Seller response. A Seller may respond with evidence (for example a licence). We may restore material if the notice is not substantiated.
5. Repeat infringement leads to termination of the Seller Agreement.
6. Learners affected by removal are dealt with under the Learner Terms (clause 4.2) and the Refund Policy.
7. We may report unlawful material to the authorities.
